WELCOME TO OUR

PARENTS' CORNER

Our center has an open door policy.  Parents are welcome at anytime to visit our center to see what their child is doing.  We also encourage patents to be volunteers to come in and assist with the daily routines, read books to children, and go on field trips with children.

How does the sick policy work?

  • To ensure a healthy environment for all children enrolled in our program, it is our policy to urge parents to keep all sick children at home for your child's well-being as well as other childrens' well-being.

  • If your child becomes ill at school, he or she will temporarily be excluded from care who may be infectious or who demonstrate physical symptoms that require continuous one-to-one care. If your child begins to exhibit signs or symptoms of illness while in our care, we will notify you to make arrangements for your child to be picked up.

Under what circumstances will the center be closed, weather related?

  • Our center will be open if all possible during inclement weather conditions, however, in the case of severe weather, please watch the local news stations for closing announcements.  The decisions to close early or all day will be at the Director's discretion based on the safety of the children, parents, and staff.

What are the days that the center will be closed?

  • New Year's Eve

  • New Year's Day

  • Good Friday

  • Martin Luther King's Birthday

  • Memorial Day

  • Independence Day

  • Labor Day

  • Thanksgiving Day

  • Day After Thanksgiving

Note: If the holiday falls on a Saturday, the center will be closed on that Friday and if the holiday falls on a Sunday, then the center will be closed that Monday.  If the center is closed for any other days for any other reasons, parents will be notified in the weekly newsletters and a sign will be posted.
