ABOUT

 

Calvert's ABC Pre-School and Nursery, Inc. is a program based on the principal that all children should receive the best possible early child education we are able to provide. Our objective is to provide a program that includes the child, parent, staff, and community working together to ensure that this goal is met.



  • Calvert's ABC Pre-School and Nursery, Inc. is a nonprofit child care center located in Aberdeen, Mississippi, Monroe County.  The center is operated by local residents. Calvert's ABC Pre-School has been operating since July 1992. 

 

  • We offer child care services for any child between the ages of six weeks to 12 years of age regardless of race, sex, or religion.The center is in collaboration with The  Mississippi Early Learning Collaborative Program. 

 

 

  • With modern playground facilities and a talented staff of teachers with experience, we specialize in physical, social, emotional, intellectual, and language development.

 

 

  • Calvert's ABC Pre-School and Nursery, Inc. has an open door policy and welcomes anyone to come in and tour our center.

  • Our center believes in educating the whole child. Every effort is made to help each child reach his or her fullest potential, and to grow physically, mentally, emotionally, socially, and intellectually. 

  • The environment is one in which love, attention, praise, appreciation, concern, and caring are show constantly.

 

  • The teachers think of discipline as a skill to be developed over a period of time.

  • They work towards helping the child/ren become self-disciplined, self-guarded, and self-directed individually.
